Agenda

All times are shown in
  1. Hidden Time Drains and How to Structure a More Productive Workday

    • This session helps you identify the biggest hidden time drains in your practice and introduces practical strategies to structure your day more effectively. Learn tips to prioritize high-value work, reduce context switching, and build a more controlled, productive schedule.
  2. Microsoft Word: Copilot and Time-Saving Features You'll Wish You Knew Sooner

    • Most attorneys use only a fraction of Microsoft Word's capabilities, resulting in unnecessary time spent on formatting, editing, and document cleanup. This session highlights built-in features and emerging tools that can significantly reduce drafting time, improve consistency, and minimize frustration in everyday document work.
  3. Email and Calendar Management: Take Back Control of Your Day

    • Attorneys spend an estimated 20–30% of their working hours managing email. Don't let it dictate your day! This session introduces practical systems, habits, and built-in features that help control inbox volume, streamline responses, and reduce constant interruptions.
  4. AI for Legal Admin Tasks: The End of Low-Value Busywork

    • Administrative tasks are one of the biggest hidden drains on productivity but also the simplest to automate. This session demonstrates how to use AI tools to handle routine work such as email drafting, document summarization, and basic workflow tasks. The focus is on practical, low-risk implementation that delivers immediate time savings.
  5. Document Management: Get the Right Documents at the Right Time

    • Poor document management leads to wasted time hunting for files, duplicated work, and increased risk. This session addresses common breakdowns in how documents are stored, named, and accessed, including version control issues. Learn straightforward strategies to improve organization, reduce friction, and ensure reliable access to the documents you need.
  6. Ethics of Technology: Competence, Confidentiality, and AI

    • As technology becomes more embedded in legal practice, attorneys must balance efficiency with ethical obligations. This session reviews key considerations related to competence, data security, client confidentiality, and the use of AI tools, with a focus on practical guidance for staying compliant while adopting new technology.
